The Waller Flag is a multi-band antenna performing very well on 160m and 80m , it also provides some degree of directivity on 40m . These plots are an actual measure I did using the program Polar Plot by G4HFQ and a sound card PC. The plots are consistent and repetitive, giving me the ability to change a component and check the influence on the antenna diagram. I used this method to detune my tower, I detuned my tower watching the back lobes on the plot and making both sides symmetric, The plot for 80m with a help of Ron W4BP, shows a distortion on the right back lobe, it is possible to adjust the detuning circuit to make it small like the left lobe,

It’s important to understand that these diagram represent ground wave signals, at no elevation. The WF performance on other elevation angles are very compatible with EZNEC diagram. The experience using the antenna on the air is amazing , the directivity is comparable with a good 3 elements yagi with 30 db F/B and 30 db F/S.
